Filled with love (and lovely design features), 2015 Benefit Home ready to tour in Rancho Sienna
Benefiting two of Austin’s worthiest children’s charities, the 2015 Benefit Home in Rancho Sienna is not only filled with love. It’s also filled with great design features like a rustic limestone kitchen island, granite countertops, tile and hardwood floors, and a huge covered patio with an outdoor fireplace.
And now, it’s complete and ready to tour.
Built by Chesmar Homes, the Benefit Home is an annual project of the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin. The majority of its sale proceeds will benefit the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas and Austin’s Ronald McDonald House, which provides lodging for families with extremely ill children.
Market priced at $399,042, this home features Chesmar’s four-bedroom Nathaniel design. With 2,838 square feet, this home has a huge family room and kitchen area downstairs. The luxurious master suite and a guest suite are also on the first floor, with the master bath offering a private view of a stone community wall bordering the side yard. Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms and a Texas-size gameroom.
Highlights include 16-inch ceramic tile throughout the all of the downstairs area except for the bedrooms. French doors open to the study, which has hardwood floors. With their deep rich stain, the kitchen cabinets are a perfect complement for the beautiful granite countertops, which are a striking white color with dramatic dark streaks. The staircase also has dark-stained wood, along with wrought iron railing and accents.
The handsome exterior combines Hill Country limestone with stucco and timber accents. And because this is Rancho Sienna, the Nathaniel includes a big welcoming front porch.
Donated in part by Newland, the homesite is located within walking distance of The Sienna House, Sienna Trail Park, and the trailhead for the new Big View Trail, opening in a few months. The large side yard is perfect for a playscape, pool, garden or simply open space.
