Harvest Festival highlights 2 weekends of “Take Me Home” Tour at Rancho Sienna
Fall is festival time in the Texas Hill Country, and no event promises more free fun than the Harvest Festival at Rancho Sienna, on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 2-5 p.m.
This family-friendly festival is a highlight of the “Take Me Home” Tour at Rancho Sienna, which takes place over two weekends, Sept. 19-20 and Sept. 26-27. Home shoppers can tour 11 fully furnished model homes in the Rancho Sienna Model Home Village, along with 30+ showcase homes ready for quick move-in, at prices from the $200,000s to $700,000s.
The Harvest Festival will feature live music by the Devin Jake duo, food trucks, pumpkin bowling and pedicab tours. There’ll be plenty for kids of all ages, including arts and crafts activities, train rides and pony rides.
Our scarecrow mascots, Rancho and Sienna, will be on hand to welcome visitors and pose for photos.
With the Scavenger Hunt, visitors can explore Sienna Trail Park, part of 100+ acres of parks and trails in this scenic Hill Country community. In the Market Day area, visitors can discover local crafters and vendors, including many Rancho Sienna residents.
There's even an opportunity to RSVP for a painting class with Artist Rose of Art Spark, Austin! The first 10 who RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org will be able to paint step-by-step with Rose & even take home the 12x12 piece of artwork, compliments of Newland! The painting class will start at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 26th, so make sure to arrive to the festival early to grab a bite to eat & enjoy the other festivities.
The Take Me Home Tour will get off to an exciting start on the weekend of Sept. 19-20, when the first visitors will receive a $25 gift card to Total Wine from the Austin American-Statesman.
Throughout both weekends, model homes will be open and visitors can follow the blue Open House balloons to tour 30+ quick move-in homes, including traditional single-family homes, low-maintenance garden homes and luxurious custom homes.
If you have some free time on either of these two weekends, head on over to Rancho Sienna’s sister community, Teravista, located at I-35 North and Westinghouse Road. The big highlight there will be a grand opening celebration for Teravista’s newest park on Sat., Sept. 19 from 2-5 p.m.
