Shelter dogs benefit from Rancho Sienna Dog Park Grand Opening
The grand opening of the Rancho Sienna dog park earlier last fall is living on in two ways.
First, many of the community’s four-legged residents immortalized their paw prints in the park’s sidewalks.
Second, the grand opening event raised funds to help the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, highlighted by a donation of $1,000 and some much-needed supplies from our builder partner D.R. Horton.
Together with the money raised by the first annual Rancho Rescue Run earlier this year, the D.R. Horton donation has helped WCRAS continue to enhance the shelter’s play area.
Here’s a video recapping the Dog Park Grand Opening. It’s always a great time of year to enjoy this popular Rancho Sienna amenity. It offers fenced play areas for large and small breeds, along with agility features, a scenic pond and a gazebo. If you don’t have a dog, consider visiting WCRAS to give a four-legged friend a new home at Rancho Sienna.
