Tour some of Rancho Sienna’s sister communities throughout the U.S.

While there’s no other place quite like the Texas Hill Country, Rancho Sienna does have some beautiful sister communities located from coast-to-coast across the U.S.

More than 40 currently active communities in 14 states are all part of the family at Newland, the nation’s largest private developer of residential and mixed-use urban communities.

Together, these communities helped Newland win the “Developer of the Year” award from Green Builder magazine recently, and five Newland communities were on RCLCO’s list of the nation’s top-selling developments in 2016.

As detailed in a previous blog, Newland has a total of four communities right here in the Austin region. Looking out a little further, here are some of Rancho Sienna’s newest and most interesting siblings across the U.S.:

  • Opened in 2016, Elyson is relatively nearby, in Houston. Celebrating the Katy Prairie, Elyson devotes more than 750 acres to parks, trails and natural open space. Its Elyson House community center features unique Frank Lloyd Wright inspired architecture.
  • Two Newland communities in North Carolina, Briar Chapel and Wendell Falls, have saved residents more than $1 million in energy bills over the past 10 years (read blog). Many of these same energy saving ideas can also be found at Rancho Sienna.

  • Bexley, Newland’s fourth Tampa community, is creating an authentic, multi-purpose 10-mile trail system that will connect to Florida’s 42-mile Suncoast Trail.
  • In the Pacific Northwest, Tehaleh has approximately 1,800 acres of open space and more than 10 miles of trails with views of Mount Rainier and other gorgeous scenery.
