2017 in review: another exciting year for Rancho Sienna
December – Primrose School of Rancho Sienna breaks ground, with a Spring 2018 opening planned for the community’s first private preschool and daycare center.
November – Rancho Sienna’s newest recreational amenity is announced. We’ll have more details soon about Vineyard Park, which will include grape vines, olive trees and herb gardens that residents can harvest. Opening in late spring 2018, this park will also include a unique wine barrel sculpture.
October – The entire community and many guests turned out to celebrate Harvest Fest, which has become a community tradition since Newland Communities became the developer of Rancho Sienna in 2013.
September – The 2nd annual Chill Out Grill Out brought residents together for another blossoming Rancho Sienna tradition. Also, Jennifer Stary joins the Newland team as marketing manager for Rancho Sienna.
August – Rancho Sienna Elementary School opened with many innovations for the community’s youngest learners. Niche released its 2018 school rankings, giving Liberty Hill ISD an overall A- grade, including an A for Academics.
August – Several new fully furnished model homes opened, expanding the variety of price ranges and homebuilders offered in Rancho Sienna. These included new model homes from Pulte and Sitterle.
June – Liberty Hill ISD schools serving Rancho Sienna get high ratings from Children at Risk. Liberty Hill High and Liberty Hill Junior High both received A- grades.
May – Three Rancho Sienna homebuilders rank among the nation’s top 10 largest builders on the 2017 BUILDER 100 list. These include D.R. Horton, at No. 1 nationally, along with PulteGroup (No. 3) and CalAtlantic (No. 5). TRI Pointe Group (Trendmaker), Perry, Chesmar and CastleRock were also Rancho Sienna builders in the top 50.
May – Excitement about Rancho Sienna Elementary School builds with the stellar Reach for the Stars event at Sienna House. Students and parents were invited to meet teachers and engage in fascinating science projects.
April – Spring brings more new model homes to Rancho Sienna, including fully furnished model homes from Chesmar and Trendmaker.
February – The month-long “Meet the Models” event invited homebuyers from Austin and throughout the nation to enjoy video and in-person tours of Rancho Sienna’s newest model homes.
January – Rancho Sienna announces a partnership with Austin-based Families in Nature to offer nature-focused events to encourage all residents, especially children, to enjoy parks, trails and other natural resources in Rancho Sienna and throughout the Hill Country
