Use these popular parenting apps to keep track of everyone in the family
From knowing where your kids are both offline and online, to finding healthy food and clean restrooms on a road trip, we’re living in a golden age of apps that help make parenting easier.
Here are our seven top picks for finding your kids, sharing family shopping lists, keeping the young ones entertained and more.
MamaBear – Calling itself the “all-in-one worry-free parenting app,” MamaBear lets you monitor texts, social media, and even the speeds your kids is driving or riding at. It also lets you share news and photos, and see the location of everyone in the family.
For the Littlest Ones – Babies have special needs compared to bigger kids, and there’s an app for that called Baby Connect that lets you track everything from diapers and medicine, and exchange messages with nannies and other caregivers.
RedRover – Coming soon to the Austin area, RedRover touts itself as “the easy button” for finding fun things to do in town.
List It – Wunderlist is one of the most popular apps for sharing shopping lists, managing multiple work projects and planning holidays and family events. Microsoft has launched a similar app called To-Do.
Intuition+ – Described as “mom’s personal assistant,” this highly rated app offers a one-stop interface for list-making and calendaring.
Caring for Parents – Many families help take care of parents and grandparents, and CareZone helps you organize appointments, medications and other necessities.
