What’s happening in Rancho Sienna in March
What’s it like to live in Rancho Sienna? For one thing, we’re a pretty sociable community. Just take a look at our community calendar for March.
On March 15, our Third Thursday Thirsty Social celebrates St. Patrick’s Day, with Irish beer samples, appetizers and music for residents ages 21 and up.
On March 19, we celebrate another community happy hour, this one featuring wine.
Our Community Garage Sale on March 21 gives residents a chance to clear out the garage and closets, while raising a little extra cash. For others, it will be a chance to find new treasures at bargain prices.
On March 31, we end the month in high style with our Spring Fling, featuring an egg hunt, a visit from the Easter Bunny, a train ride and bounce house. There’ll be a balloon artist and face painter, along with arts and crafts activities. The Spring Fling will also showcase local businesses, including many owned by Rancho Sienna residents.
With the weather warming up, it’s also the time of year when reptiles such as snakes become more active and visible. On March 14, an expert from Austin Reptile Service will visit to educate residents on how to be safe around snakes, as well as to explain the benefits of this often misunderstood species.
