Design features we love in Rancho Sienna’s model homes
Groovy geology. We love the mineral-inspired texture and color for the gameroom mural in Chesmar’s Warner model home. It makes a perfect neutral-yet-interesting backdrop for the big-screen TV. A foosball table and four “baseball glove” chairs add to this room’s fun factor. The window treatments are another standout.
Farmhouse chic. With its farmhouse chic décor, Chesmar’s Owen model home blends a comfortable country feel with upscale elegance. The beamed ceiling and chandelier in the foyer is one example of this town-and-country contrast. We also love the arched brick wall in the family room and kitchen area, and the shiplap walls in the dining room.
Treasure island. The huge kitchen island in Perry’s Design 2529S model home offers oodles of surface space for casual dining and cooking. The functionality of this elegant island goes much deeper, with vast hidden storage space below the granite countertop. The beautiful kitchen also has wood-look porcelain tile floors that flow seamlessly into the family room.
Outdoor elegance. While it has many interior high points, the covered outdoor living area is one of our favorite things about Perry’s Design 3435S model home. With its comfy seating area, wall-mounted TV and artwork, this patio succeeds in extending the living space outside, and vice versa.
Luxurious owner’s suite. With its horizontal lines, the shiplap statement wall in the owner’s suite of Sitterle’s San Saba model home emphasizes the generous dimensions of this retreat. The pop-out window adds to the feeling of spaciousness. We also love the owner’s bath, where the dark-stained cabinetry offers a nice contrast to the white tile and other crisp details.
Walls that wow. Pulte’s Granville model home is filled with creative wall treatments ranging from fun to elegant. In the owner’s suite, a mocha brown statement wall adds rich detail with an abstract organic theme. In the gameroom, “Play” letters remind everyone to relax and have fun. The big “M” letter in the nursery can easily be customized to fit any name, and the antique-inspired racing plaques in one of the secondary bedrooms makes it appealing to car enthusiasts of any age.
