Lennar offers new plan for multigenerational families
A Pew Research Center study has found that a record number of Americans are living in multigenerational households, defined as homes with grandparents and grandchildren, or with two or more adult generations. About 20 percent of Americans, or 64 million people, now live in such extended families.
With its innovative NextGen series, Lennar was one of the first homebuilders to create new homes especially designed for multigenerational families. Lennar aptly describes NextGen as “two homes under one roof,” and as a “home within a home.”
At Rancho Sienna, Lennar is offering the Giallo II NextGen plan. An expanded version of Lennar’s fully furnished Giallo model home in Rancho Sienna, the Giallo II includes a complete living suite with a living room, a kitchenette, and a bedroom with a full bath.
This downstairs NextGen suite has a private entrance from the front porch, along with an interior entry to the foyer.
In addition to the NextGen suite, the Giallo II has plenty of space for a growing family, with a two-story family room, kitchen and breakfast area opening onto a covered patio. The owner’s suite and an additional bedroom are both downstairs, with a loft and fourth bedroom upstairs.
