With Millennials flocking to Austin, Rancho Sienna offers new homes and a lifestyle ideal for first-time homebuyers
Austin is a magnet for Millennials, ranking high in several recent reports and studies among cities with strong appeal for adults in their 20s and 30s.
In a post titled “5 Cities Millennials are Flocking To,” RISMedia’s Housecall blog cited Austin’s relative housing affordability compared to the rest of the nation, with a median home price of about $350,000. Another plus is Austin’s strong job growth rate of 3.4%, surpassed only in the U.S. by Orlando, Florida.
The Housecall blog also noted Austin’s strong emphasis on environmental sustainability as a draw for Millennials.
While many Millennials want to live downtown or close to downtown, a growing number are discovering the rewards of living in master-planned communities like Rancho Sienna.
