Rancho Sienna Elementary School
Born and bred in Texas, Ms. Bowman traces her roots to the small South Texas town of Orange Grove. She is the proud mom of two kids, Emily (21) and Scott (27), and one grandson, Landon (7). After becoming empty nesters, Ms. Bowman and her husband, Jeff, moved from Round Rock to Burnet, to live on a little piece of property that they now call home.
Ms. Bowman says she feels “blessed” to have served students in five school districts across Texas for the last 21 years. After graduating from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) in San Marcos, she taught in Kindergarten and Gifted & Talented programs, as well as in 2nd, 4th and 5th grade classrooms. She served as an Instructional Coach for teachers before moving into campus administration for the last nine years. For the last five of those years, she has been part of Liberty Hill ISD. “I am so proud to be a part of this great district,” say Ms. Bowman. “Panther Proud!”

Mr. Curtis is a huge University of Texas fan, and goes to as many home games of all sports as possible. He played college football at McMurry University in Abilene, and he says that background helped shape the foundations upon which he built his career.
He is now in his fourth year as a campus principal and his fourth year in Liberty Hill ISD.
“Providing students with the best education in the state is our goal. We will do this with a safe, respectful, and responsible campus. Having all students learn and grow is our top priority and we will achieve this while helping students learn to be great citizens as well,” Mr. Curtis says. “Our vision is to be the best intermediate school in Texas, and we cannot achieve this prestigious goal without building bridges with the community and the parents. We are here to collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure that our students are learning today and leading tomorrow.”
Mr. Curtis says he is always open to all parent communication. “If you ever need to reach me please call 512-379-3200 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org,” he says.
