More model home features we love at Rancho Sienna
Rancho Sienna’s beautifully decorated model homes showcase the wide variety of new homes offered by our best-in-class builders, at prices from the $200,000s to the $500,000s.
They are also filled with trendy and inspirational design ideas. So many, in fact, that we wanted to share some of our favorites, starting with the wonderfully random tile pattern in Chesmar’s Owen model home in Rancho Sienna Random.
Random tile patterns are a big trend for floors, backsplashes and accent walls, making right this model home on trend. This fun backsplash is a focal point for the Owen’s open kitchen and family room area, where a Farmhouse Chic décor theme prevails. Random tile patterns are repeated in the master bath and other areas for a cohesive look throughout this model home.
Here are 6 more of our favorite design features from Rancho Sienna’s fully furnished model homes.
Spa-like luxury. The oversized walk-in shower in Lennar’s Giallo model home combines privacy and openness, making this primary bathroom the ultimate retreat. The generously proportioned ledge is perfect for holding toiletries, and it also makes a comfy seat. Natural light and high ceilings add to the inviting vibe of this master bath.
Outdoor oasis. All of Rancho Sienna’s model homes showcase outdoor living areas, and the covered patio in Perry’s Plan 2529S model home is one of the most appealing. This patio is large enough to accommodate sitting and dining areas. The iron railing defines the space, while preserving views of the backyard and Rancho Sienna’s beautiful Hill Country environment.
Take a bow. A bow-bay, that is. The bow-bay window in Perry’s Plan 3435S model home shows how this design feature fills the room with natural light and imparts a feeling of spaciousness that goes far beyond the actual square footage added. This bow-bay window creates a serene sitting area in the master suite. The window’s curved shape is echoed by the coffered ceiling, creating a custom-look architectural design detail.
Walls that wow. Pulte’s Granville model home in Rancho Sienna has some of the most creative accent walls we’ve seen. Some are elegant, such as this subtly organic wall in the master bedroom suite. The warm brown paint harmonizes with the carpet, light fixture and nightstands, transforming this room into a relaxing natural retreat. Tour this model home to see more fun walls, such as the blue-and-white racing car wall in one of the secondary bedrooms, and the “Play” mural in the gameroom.
L-evated design. The L-shaped kitchen island in Sitterle’s San Saba model home takes the trend of oversized table islands to a new level. With its beautiful matt countertop, this island offers plenty of seating and serving space, combined with lots of hidden storage below. The large scale of this island is spot-on, making it the perfect focal point for a large open kitchen/family area with lofty beamed ceilings.
Hill Country architecture. With its stone exterior and inviting front porch, Trendmaker’s Plan 602F model home evokes classic Hill Country architecture. This handsome home also holds a modern secret: beyond the double garage door hides a four-car garage, offering loads of parking and storage space for those who want it. Trendmaker also offers the option of building this model home with a two-car garage.
